Getting my official race number at the Expo Wall of messages at Expo
My lovely pink and purple running vest. 5:30am. Cold and dark waiting for train. Steve in shock food photo Ferry to the start.
Bunch of Brazillians in some space-age sleeping bags at the start. Graham looks to support the English, Brits and any pretty girl running past.
Generations. Steve spots Krista in the crowd just off where we're running. He thinks she might have food. He runs back empty handed. How I love that pink vest.
OK, I admit it. By this stage (23ish miles) I was shagged. Steve actually was worse but when there's a camera around he goes into pose mode.
